Hi,
First, thanks for checking out my stuff. I'm a native of NW Georgia (USA) and have been into photography since I was old enough to hold a camera (I'm pushing 40 now). I recently graduated to the digital SLR world and have been taking pictures like crazy. I tend to prefer shooting landscapes (especially water related) but also enjoy playing with the more artistic angles.
Resently, one of my pictures, "Foggy morning by the creek", was chosen to be in the "Last Week in the Gallery" over in the forums. ( http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2738900Â )Â I was very excited to see one of my shots had made it concidering all the great work on this site.
Feel free to comment on any picture, or to contact me for info about any of them.
Thanks,
Spike

Moving and beautiful historical capture. Amazing how that huge tree has embedded the stone. Makes one wonder why and the history of the person buried there. Captivating and wonderful image.

Fascinating! I know where the cemetary is, but I didn't realize about the Civil War graves... but, that place IS pretty big. Great shot!

This is definitely a composition with beauty from ashes, order from the past and strong other symbolisms, just to name a few.

Not so creepy. After the stone is long swallowed, the living stone continues with its secret. Excellent find and presentation.
