Description

This kudu male was photographed in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The Kudu is one of the larger species of antelope found in Southern Africa. The male's age is determined by the number of turns in its horns. This is a fairly young fella!!! The real old boys can have up to four turns in their horns. Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you wish to post. Hugs, Carin xx

This is super! I love the details you caught, the expression on his face as he munches away, and everything else in this image! You've got a great photographic eye, and a wonderful way of catching even the eyelashes of the creatures you show us. Great stuff and I enjoy this picture immensely!

Wow .. there is so much going on in this face ... the white stripes across the forehead ... the twisty horns and the chewing of the leaves. lots of different angles and directions pulling at my attention. A truly unique photo!!!!
