Hi, I'm Marilyn.  I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile.  It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here.  I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends.  Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time.  Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!!  Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet.  You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long.  Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Do you know if this is feverfew? It looks like it but there is one other small low-growing daisy that looks very similar. Your postwork always blows me away. :-)

Well at least your daisies will have 'an edge' over other weeds ...though I always feel a little cruel describing them as weeds. These daisies are so pretty! Mike

Can't quite make out but is that a bonus lady bug top right next to the larger daisy? Excellent bit of post work Marilyn, I have never seen blue rimmed daisy's before, is this some new species that you have found? The blue rimmed Beachzz daisy. has a ring to it, don't you think? Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Daisies? Daisies? Like, doesn't that fall within my purview? Which reminds me, I haven't posted one of my wild postworked beauties in a month of Sundays. Oh well, interesting concept presented here with the stark contrast inherent in the image and the blue halos around the blooms.

I love your postwork...I share the postwork addiction too...I have to often argue intensely with my self to simply leave a picture alone! Ah...but you've done such a COOL job with this. It's funny, too, because I saw a massive load of daisies and nearly photographed them. THESE are great though, I love the blue additions, the tweak in focus and color/contrast and all of that. It looks more like a painting than a photograph!

This has a 60s sort of feel to it, my flower-child friend! Way cool postwork. This turned out great!
