Description

This is the Scottish Rite Building in Savnnah, Georgia. It's full of rich detail, gorgeous color, and the only way you can really get a good foto is from the middle of the street!! It took a while to get even this one, there's a lot of traffic and for some reason, the people driving those cars just don't seem to understand about photographers and why they just HAVE to be in the middle of the street!! Isn't that strange, makes perfect sense to me!!

The richly decorated stratifications of masonry make for an overall stunning effect - well worth a venture to the middle of the street. Bravo, intrepid photographer! Mike

Oh wow, rich detail is an understatement in this awesome capture, Marilyn! Fantastic columns and their swirly capitals, impeccable cornices, orangy/yellow colors, etc.! And, photographers have a Constitutional right to stand in the street taking pictures!

Oooh, BRILLIANT! I love the colors here, they completely POP! This is an amazing piece of work! It's good to see architecture like this and to know that it's in the USA. It kinda makes me think that Prague could be given a run for its money...eventually! Great, great shot!

What on earth is wrong with those drivers? Everyone knows that wherever a photographer needs to be to get the shot is a perfectly appropriate location, and we have the right-of-way above everything else! Everyone else is just trying to GO somewhere. Slow down and take a picture! Sheesh! And this is a great one! The detail is amazing, and even if you had to play in traffic to get it, this was worth the trouble!!
