Description

Chester Zoo UK. Even Better zoomed-in I couldn't get enough shots of these little Indian Elephants. Great fun to watch them play! We went to Haworth yesterday, and today on a 7 mile walk - Hebden Bridge to Todmorden West Yorkshire. I'll try and catch up with comments! Have a great Thursday!

7 miles? for no reason? good heavens, I'd have to be promised something at the end pretty good for that. :-) I love hiking but that is different from a walk. These guys are just adorable and I bet it was great to see them play.

Yeah ! I said walk and Pj is right to point out that a walk is different to a Hiking, well we go hiking with the boots and backpacks over the hills and through woodlands, I always have a habit of just calling it a walk lol.

I find this capture quite extraordinary and full of tenderness. I once got closer to elephants bathing in a river in Nepal, and the feeling of standing among them has remained one of my most beautiful memories to date.

Your timing was spot on for this one Alan, the way the little one has its foot up on the others back, people think Mom is watching them, Mom was a lot bigger, this one is big sister and in ten seconds she is in and under the water. Lol. Superb close up mate, I could have watched these at play a lot longer than we did, I don't think one day is long enough to get round this Zoo. 110 acres is a big area to cover in seven hours and we only had four and a half, with a break for lunch as well. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
