Description

I use the image from a previous work titled "Last Light" because I felt that it would integrate well with the other components. The sky was created using Glitterato. The moon was created using LunarCell. The Comet started as a small moon from Lunar Cell. I then added a motion trail in Macromedia Fireworks. In Adobe Photoshop, I warped it using Sphere. Then, I added Glow and a motion Blur to the comet to make it look more like a fireball. Enjoy!

GREAT sense of color...it's both otherworldly in a science fictional sort of way, and surreal in a this-side-of-reality sort of way. In short, it's a great combination, wrapped up in a piece of great work. I love the landscape and the shadows. I wouldn't change anything in this image, but if you're interested, maybe you could blur the cusp of the lunar shadow a bit...the terminator is a bit sharp, which DOES NOT detract from the picture in any way, but I'm one of those guys who always tweaks things, and I'm curious to see how it would look...but that's just me, and the suggestion is just me...well...tweaking stuff in my mind. Great work and a nicely dramatic tone to this.

Once again...the TG part needs more emphasis....TG is a landscape generator...this is more of a mixed media type image....terragen should be more than 50% of the image. Landscapes with a space or sci-fi theme is what I'm all about....but this needs a little more landscape....I still like this image...keep on man!!

Nice integration of the elements- a little less shadow density to show off that terrain. Well done.
