Continued from yesterday... "We should go now" she said coyly. "I'll lead the way." My mind reeled. What lay in store for me? I had been in some odd situations in my life, but this? Nothing to do but just roll with it and see where it led. "She seems safe, I don't think she means me any harm" I said to myself. "Besides, I really don't think I could miss what lays ahead for the world" I smiled. Glancing over her shoulder she said softly "Stay close Ed, I don't want to lose you." "Don't worry, I'm right behind you" I said. She picked up her bow and arrows and we took off through the thick woods. From time to time she motioned me to stop. I could hear something, moving through the brush, something large as heck. Placing her finger to her lips, she indicated to me to be quiet. I obeyed. When the sound moved on, she motioned to continue. Watching her slim body move through the brush was amazing, so sure of foot, so confident. I felt a growing respect of her abilities.
