Description

518 laughed and waved a hand as he said, "I DID say, that I'd do whatever necessary to save Snowflake! As long as it DOESN'T kill me!" Snowflake lay next to him on the alien bed and looked at him and put her right hand on his fist, and sighed, "I'd smile at you, if I had that kind of mouth, so--Thank you. It's all I have." Capitan Rose put a hand on her adopted daughter's thigh and tear-drops fell from her eye. 518 was still shocked at the thought of what he considered 'Robots' to be able to cry. Rose asked the alien woman, Kyryn, "What other affect will this 'Important blood transfusion' do to Snowflake other than extend her physical structure at full operational status for a week? Do you even know?" Kyryn blinked, and looked surprised. The blue gem in her forehead was throbbing a deep blue, and a fine sheen of sweat covered her golden skin. She asked,"It probably wouldn't be close to a longer agonizing death from the disintegration of her molecular structure! To be blunt--I do NOT know of 'OTHER' effects on her structure. My power didn't tell me. My intuition told me to do this." 518 raised his eyebrows and asked,"Android Intuition? A new form of A.I.?" They all looked at him with hostility, including the alien who claimed to be related to androids. Snowflake looked at the other Cyclops standing around. The hostility diminished and she turned to 518. She began,"You are biological life based off bio-chemistry. I...WE are MACHINE-life based off of machinery...per se. As amino acids are to simple machines, so robots are to long strand protiens. OUR cells are like nano-machine androids, replicating 'nano-robots'. However..." Rose wiped her eye on her hand and looked at the tears in wonder, and continued, "...However, we also use artificial biological systems as well. They simply do mineral and element extraction and distribution better than comparable machine-life systems. Your blood IS compatible for direct transfusion to Snowflake's system." 518 suddenly met Kyryn's deep sea-like eyes and saw ghostly images around her for a second, and then they vanished. Kyryn stared at him. He thought of how Nachi changed, of how Tall White Lady, and how HE had changed from the influence of Toxic's blood. "That might happen to her as well", Kyryn said to him. He looked shocked. "What?" The three closest to Kyryn echoed that verbly. Kyryn looked around in curiosity, and sniffed,"Interesting. No one else heard him." After a moment, she said on several levels of communication, "Those of you that can, should let me download my communication language to a server, so you can communicate with other Galactic Machine-life Species." The Speaker's voice came over the intercom in the clinic, "Kyryn, you may download your Language into a fire-walled server, so it can be examined later." A moment later a klaxon sounded and an announcement came on everywhere in Telegardia, "GENERAL QUARTERS! GENERAL QUARTERS! Prepare for deployment! Pilots to your planes. Prepare to move the city! Capitan Rose and family to Transport 110. All visitors to Transport 110! Escorts to their locations immediately. DEPLOYMENT IN T-MINUS TEN MINUTES!" 518 and Kyryn looks startled as the room exploded into activity. Kyryn looked over at 518 as Rose and Snowflake disengaged the transfusion tube, and bandaged 518's arm, as if arms of the same creature. 518 stood up and said to Kyryn, "I would suppose the Cyclops discussion of what to do with us AND about the alien attack is over!" Kyryn smiled and just shook her head., Snowflake exclaimed to 518, "Well, no shit! I always wanted to say that to someone!" 518 just had to laugh at that. Kyryn just blinked in confusion. --TO BE CONTINUED!--

Excellent story and Kyryn is quite beautiful. This page of the story could have used at least one more picture and most likely two.

Great set indeed, full of wonderful details, very well built and very well composed. The characters are great once again. Kyryn is lovely. Just one detail: Snowflake's shins and feet are partially penetrating the bed.

Nice set and composition. Your characters are always interesting. Lots of detail, and the eye tends to go straight to that striking character in green.
