Description

I have always wanted to be able to put an actual arched object into a Terragen image- with TG2, it's possible. Terragen Tech Preview, Studio Max for the arch model. The stones are a mixture of objects and fake rock shaders. I also used some image maps with displacement, and the terrain itself was generated by Terragen. Thanks for viewing and any comments.

Ah - so there are different ways to do the arch - ! Importing a model is very cool when you find one that's just right. I tried mine with connected sphere objects. Difficult to get "just right", too! No matter what, I like it a lot!

You can do something somewhat similar with TG9 if you import a .dfx model into TerraBrush. But I seriously doubt it would give anywhere near the same effect. I tried a bridge once, it was ok. Nothing spectacular. But this is very well done. Excellent use of TG2! ")

The fractal textures on the ground and rocks are completely convincing-- very photoreal, this could easily be a photograph!
