Description
After getting less than 10 comments on my last piece...(wait I thought it wasn't about that!) I fired the guy in charge of thumbnails and hired a pimply-faced 12 year-old to be my marketing director. I think his theory is "sell it with sex". Hell, might as well join 'em. Lol!
So this thumbnail is a test to see just how far I can go before the thumb gets whacked and "how much skin do I have to show in order for someone to pay attention"...sigh...sounds like strip club marketing to me. (Anyone got a 20 for that g-string? Here, let me hold it in my teeth so she can pick it up with her thighs.)

Yeah, I understand the frustration, and thumbnail choice (especially under the current policy) is something of an art form unto itself. Still, what I have found makes the biggest difference is doing comments on others' work. If I go make a bunch of comments, just working my way through the "What's New" gallery, I'll get a bunch of comments back on my last posting or two. But be prepared for having it not pay off all that well. It seems that I make three comments for every one that I get, but every now and then someone will make me one of their favorite artists which tends to increase the base-line comment volume. So anyway, about this image, nice action scene, great foliage in the setting, and yeah... the lighting really highlights her butt. Nice job.

lol 2 dots and a line in a thumbnail on here risks a chance of being pulled. Give people power and watch them abuse it. Look at our government here in the US. Nice scene setup!

That is a fact...sex sells. Someone likes to render coffee cups or bottles... I prefer butts and boobs...Anyway, good looking scene. I agree with danamongden...Light touches those cheeks very nicely! Beautiful work!!

Well you got more than 10 allready so the "sex sells" thinghy must be true LOL It seems like people don't have the time to comment anymore, its all work and no play at the moment. The economy is more important than life itself here in the Netherlands and our government wants us to work longer and harder for every penny we get. Someone should whack them over the head with a blunt instrument I think. Your images are looking excellent as always my friend so the lack of comments is not your fault, keep on rendering and I will keep comming back to comment. 5+

I would concur with danamongden, there is much strategy in choice of thumbnail. As for comments though, commenting on the work of others helps, though getting comments other than "Super work, HUGZZ" can be a challenge in and of itself as well...

strangly it was the text that drew me in.. not the image on the Thumb... grin The image itself is fantastic.. great atmo a deep sence of tence... great bravery.. and nice background.. Fantastic.. i will look at your previous image.. must say that with rising temps outside (summer like spring on most of the norther part of the globe) many are not online these days.. that might be an excuse. I am also in NL, like Twingo.. but I do not realy work.. grin.. I just enjoy the great weather while guiding tourists... but ok.. it is fun to grrr at governments.. Write the Dutch PM a letter that his policy gives you less comments.. that would be fun.. Dah...
