Description

After all my crazed, chaotic posting of the last couple of days, I needed something soft, quiet and serene. I took this the day I spent in the redwoods (for Shane's b-day post**). I could spend time here, just resting in the shade of the trees, the sun is cracking the flags here at the momment. I love the sun but sometimes it gets a bit much for me. Here looks a nice balance. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Superb capture...another favorite! I'd love to see this forest for myself, just to smell it, hear it, and yeah, and to just enjoy it. I love this glimpse into that world. It's quite calming and well...I've always thought that ferns add such a delicious lushness to things! The light dapples and color are perfect here!
