Description
I krept into the kromekat krypt and dug out some paintings I did whilst at college, which to my horror turns out to be 12 years ago!!.
This was another dummy brief from an artists agency in london. the book jacket had previously been illustrated by Jim Burns for the US market, and I was asked to come up with my own version working from the same details he was given. The brief was quite specific and mentioned 'an intelligent looking Werewolf...similar to the one from American Werewolf... dramatically lit shuttle on its launching pad etc'
Painted in acrylics, brush and airbrush on illustration board.

I don't believe I've seen this little gem before - very acomplished! I like the detail of the water droplets - and - focal blur? in a painting? I don't think i was ever that ambitious! lol!
kromekat
lol! - actually, I should have said, i added a small amount of blur to the background using photoshop! - its something i would have done then if i could have easily! :)

Technically wonderful!! Awesome! Love to see the 2D stuff! Subject matter? Bizzare! What a strange contrast in subjects! What an unusual request from a client! Did you read the book?
