Description

These are some buildings I am creating for a film background matte. The buildings were all modelled in Cinema, and textures and rendered in Bryce. :)

I'm addicted to urban subjects, cityscapes and architecture, and this one just made my day! Nicely done. Thanks.

Very good work. Well executed scene with some very good modelling on display. Love the scale and the depth in this. Well done. ---- Scott.

Marvelous and imaginative modelling there! Perhaps you should have been an architect! ;) I love that lit window texture - it's really effective! Maybe some variation in the colour of the lit windows would add more realism - although the uniform blue does give a futuristic SW look.

My only critique might be that I don't know if you'd actually be able to see the interior lights of buildings in the daytime...other than that, gorgeous!

Unglaublich! Excellent work. Most realistic buildings I've seen in a cityscape here. I think it's that inner blue light that does it.

Yup I agree with the rest, this looks great indeed, for what film is it going to be if I may ask?

The film is called Mid Century! - these are not actual plates, just renders to test and play around with the buildings that will appear in the actual mattes.

The modeling is fantastic, the POV is awesome! One tiny suggestion (I am sure you've done this by now) mix up the window textures a bit more. Regardless, better than any city scene I've done! ;)
