After almost six months since my last post here, I am once again back to inform everyone that I am still alive and kicking. Quite a lot has transpired over the past few months and I thought I would throw something up and greet my friends who thought I fell off the edge of the world. There won't be a plethora of uploads from me in the future, but I will try to be a bit more frequent to help keep the rust off my fingers. Keep the faith and don't give up on me quite yet as I will be around here and there, just not in huge quantities of time as I have other interests on the horizon. Take care and be well, I'll be catching you soon! *~* Image Notes *~* I figured I would try something a bit different this time around and pump out a ton of of flowers with ecosystems and shoot for something 'pretty' for a change. The fun part for me was modeling the props and setting up this garden environment to try and counter all the fire and brimstone in my gallery. But don't worry; I haven't gone too soft...there is more on the way. LOL! Total poly count is about 6 million plus, 43 hours of render time, and another couple days learning how to work Photoshop again. This scene came out to be about 94% of how I envisioned it, so I haven't completely lost my touch...but I came darn close! I'm still not sure why I need Second Life options in Hexagon; another great mystery to me, but I guess one can't complain for $1.99. LOL! I really had to crank up the compression for this image to get it up here in full resolution; the original is much more crisp, but it is what it is.
