Description
The redwoods create a soft, filtered light beneath their canopies, just the right climate for these ferns to grow. It has primeval look, and softens the world around them. When you get close to these trees, touch them, you can feel something so alive, so real; it's truly awesome.
On my way again tomorrow and will be offline for a couple of days. I'll be in Yosemite with my camera, and hope to come back with LOTS of great pix!!

Ooh, I really DO want to see this incredibly RARE forest for myself! And yeah, I wanna touch these things for myself. Fantastic work. You captured the lushness, light and shadow so perfectly! The primordial look is well-caught as well. Perfect! And when you're off having fun, be sure to...well...have fun and take LOTS of pictures! :-)

This brings back childhood memories for me Marilyn, of scouting and camping on the moorland above our village, of playing and hiding in the ferns and bracken. Orientering in the woods, in the dead of night. It's always suprising when a picture from the otherside of the world brings back memories like this. Excellent capture, wonderful lighting. Bravo!!!!! Go and enjoy your trip, and bring us lots of wonderful pictures back. Take care but have fun.
