Description

A view over the northern part of the Kruger National Park. The Baobab tree on the hill must be several hundred years old and was a stop over for the African migrants on their way (on foot) to work on the gold mines, still almost 400 miles to go. I kept my eyes peeled and noticed that the following friends are close to a hundred fold in their uploads. Very pretty! I've been fascinated by baobabs since I read Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince when I was 7 years old lol but I never saw one for real for sure, they don't grow in Canada or any of the countries I have visited I guess... hehe Beautiful landscape and capture!

Holy Cow! 400 plus miles on foot and then work in the mines too, incredible! Poignant history for this image. Very beautiful shot, colorful landscape and I really like the curve that leaves you wondering whats beyond the bend..and the tree is like a welcoming giant, awesome!
