Description

Thank you all for your comments and fav's on my last image. You support is always appreciated and comments fantastic. Thank you. :o) Hope all are having a wonderful and safe week Fiona of the Frog Pond clan, they are the fairies who keep the Frog Pond clean and tidy, the Lilly pads soft and comfy and the flowers in perfect bloom and make sure the frogs have a balanced diet. Nope, this is not about the Frog Pond, it's about Fiona when she was a young fairy before she had her wings. Fiona likes to take strolls in the moonlight. She loves the Forest at night. Most Fairies like to stick close to home at night, but there is nothing to be afraid of in the Forest after dark. The same sounds you hear in the day, you'll hear at night. Of course there are a few strange sounds, but it's probably the old owl giving his opinion on something or the rustling in the leaves is probably one of the mice making a visit or heading home for the night. So there really isn't anything to fear, but fear itself. Or so I am told. :o) Though...I wouldn't go walking out in the Forest during Halloween. That would be foolish. Fiona usually strolls through the old pine trees. She always carries a flask of Honey Dew and a lantern with her. Long ago when Fiona was young, she was on one of her walks when she met a young, beautiful fox with a coat of golden red and a large fluffy tail. It was obvious from how he was sitting his left paw had been hurt and it was hard for him to scamper away. Foxes won't hurt fairies, but they usually stay away. They are magical animals that tend to keep to themselves. She ask the Fox, whose name was Murgatroid, if something was wrong. He lifted his paw and showed her. The paw was swollen and she could see it was hard to walk on and very painful to Rupert. She offered him some of Honey Dew from her flask. Murgatroid was very thirsty and drank some of the sweet liquid. Fiona then picked him up and carried him to the Healing Witch who fixed his paw and off he went into the deep woods. Fiona never saw him again. A strange thing happened the other night, or so it has been reported, while Fiona was out for a walk. She had walked a long way this particular night and was very thirsty, unfortunately she had forgotten her flask of Honey Dew. As she went through the break in the wall, there was Murgatroid on the path with a bunch of grapes in his mouth and offered them to the thirtsy Fiona. He nodded and scamped into the bushes. As Fiona walked home she munched the juicy ripe grapes and wondered how Murgatroid knew she was so thirsty. As I said, they a magical animals. The pines are easy to find, just go down the 'Possum Pike turn left at Hedgehog Hollow and follow it to the old wall and there they are, standing majestically. If you are lucky and stand very still, you may even see the little fox dart into the bushes. I don't know, but that's the story :o) Galoneal Dress-Bobbie 25 and Umblefugly - DAZ Galoneal Dress Textures-Spiritfoxy-DAZ Cut Pines-RDNA-Cut Pines

Thanks for the fairy tale. I enjoyed it. Fairys shouldn't be afraid of the forest - but, I have to tell you, I think a human would be crazy carrying honey dew in the forest any time - especially at night - - - Bears love honey, ask Winnie the Pooh - lol GREAT PICTURE TOO... Foxes are cool. We have an OLD, Large red fox with a huge white tail in our neighborhood... we live in the heard of the city... The fox lives by the creek.

I'm so sorry that I wasn't around to fave this earlier. It's simply stunning. I love the beautiful fae and the fox is the perfect creature to use here. Your stories are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I cut two fingers a few days ago and had a very hard time typing. They are still sore and one still bleeds. My knives should be locked up and out of reach from me, lol.
