Description

Brian's Rose I got inspired by G. Mansco and her photo of a dried rose. This is a rose from my son, Brian's funeral service, which I've dried and preserved since his death in 2000. Thanks to all for your views, comments and favorites. They are all truly appreciated more than words can tell and I'm at a loss for those words tonight. Thank you for being here.

Well I have to say after viewing this and your words it is also hard to comment, no words quite come to express how sorry I am for you. I can see this wonderful rose you have preserved, and along with that I can only imagine all the wonderful memories you have of your son, no one can ever take those away from you. take care. :) hugss

Its a most beautiful shot Deanna, I can't even begin to comprehend the loss of a child...I remember when my brother, 12 years younger than I, passed at 38 years old, remember thinking how unfair it was for him to go before me, just did not seem to be the natural order of things and I felt a deep sense of not quite being whole anymore...I hope that makes sense, it would seem to me it would be a similar feeling with a child...I am deeply sorry for your loss and I am also grateful that you shared this, it helps me to understand your strength and to understand some of the beauty that shines in your work. Be blessed my friend...superb photo!

A rose that conserves a kiss. A rose that has one caresses. A rose that she keeps a smile. A rose that I dry one cries. A rose that contains a sigh. A rose that maintains the memories...

This rose is still showing all of its beauty in yet another form. One can think of those who pass on in much the same way.
