Description

This caught my eye out of the kitchen window and was only there for about 5 minutes. Grabbed the camera and out the door. Not a great capture, but seemed so fitting for mood of the day. Thank you all for views and comments on my previous posts. They are so much appreciated and what a wonderful community here to meet friends. The internet is what you make of it. Thanks again to all of you.

I beg to differ - I think it is a great capture. The picture is psychologically 'to scale' in that the sky with its lovely rainbow has full prominence, and the human presence is merely hinted at by the low buildings. Mike

What a wonderful gesture, thank you! It is something I have never captured myself, whenever I have seen one I have not had my camera with my. I shall make it a project and endevour to get one as soon as I can. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!!

Great capture. Looks like it could have been taken in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix). This is a dust cloud, which we call 'haboob'. The rainbow means that there is some precipitation in the area, Sig....
