My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
Â
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!Â

We even have herons here in the suburbs of Manchester, They've learned that ornamental garden fishponds are a rich source of 'easy pickings' They are really impressive birds and you've caught the elegance in flight extremely well. Mike

Herons always remind me of Pterodactyls, especially when they're flying. Have fun this weekend. We'll try to hold the fort until you get back.

Great capture !

You know, I've tried to give birds direction when photographing them and I can't seem to get 'em to behave, either. Go figure... Quite a collection of fowl here, Tara, and your composition is excellent. Have a safe trip!

How cool you got this many different kinds of water birds in one shot. I'll miss you while you are gone. I think you ought to take me with you... :-)

those ducks is just hanging out . lol cool shot

Stellar capture of the magnificent blue heron, soaring elegantly by as you try to snap it at its best. The ducks are in a row because they are genetically predisposed for such a maneuver. You're no doubt familiar with the expression, "get all your ducks in a row?" Have a safe flight, Tara, get back on Renderosity post haste, and who is Jilly, and where does she reside?

Lovely shot! We have the Great Blue Herons nesting here, too, but I've never caught a shot that can match this! Beautiful! I thought about the row of ducks in the back. They're all extras, waiting to be summoned forward for their 5 minutes of fame!
