Sense of scale is great, as is the composition with the depth of mountains and hills. I'd like to see a bit more figure-ground contrast with the foreground character. All in all, an excellent render!

When someone is in front of an extraordinary piece of art like this, it´s easier to get into crits; unconsciously or not, we all look for perfection and our eyes pause in those minimum details that slightly move away from perfection. I´d say that I found red flowers to be a bit saturated in comparison with the rest of elements_ when seeing at full size. Does this count? I don´t think so. It´s still perfect.

i love everything about this image, and i can see exactly why it resonates with so many people. the flock of birds is a great touch. the light and the brilliance of the flowers are somehow slightly surreal, and appropriately dream-like. i like your images with somewhat ambiguous figures. there are several where i can't see the figure well enough to tell age, gender or even race very well. the ambiguous identity of the main figure and the landscape stretching to the horizon make this scene (and others) very universal. the scenery looks very safe (the symbolic opposite of the dark wood) and unspoiled, which i also think has a deep and basic appeal. i wonder about the shores of the stream, and how a stream running through a field would really look, but i think the lack of shores fits with the slightly surreal/unreal aspect of the image.
