will there be a day when it's not part
of the way i now muse
the way i move through my day
and spin my view
will there be a day feet can't saunter
wondering where yours step
sensing where paths cross
but dare not intercept
will there be a day music won't linger
myriads of melodies resound
echoing out their beat
until my soul is found
will there be a day I can't recall
what was real and sought
to fear it was unkept
assuredly, I think not
