Description
A simple tribute to one of my all time favourite television shows - Blake's 7.
The basic model was found on the Net, but it was not all together accurate. I remodelled some of the elements (the 'wing' struts and the nose cone) in Wings3D and added some surface details.
The image is my version of the scene in the second episode when the beautiful 'Liberator' is first glimpsed.
I feel the image is best appreciated in full size.

There seems to be a resurgence in interest in B7... why? Lovely image, almost like a screen grab... you can almost hear the theme reprise as it appears. Shame the effects let the model down (T_T) Wonderful 5++

P.S the glare was actually done in Bryce, by using semi-transparent mattes in front of the model. Low luminosity light sources were then placed in front of the mattes.

A very cool tribute, and i was going to say 'what's a starfleet badge doing in the corner' and then I remembered that they used the same symbol in Blakes 7 (the British Star Trek).
