Description

here in Breaux Bridge there is a art walk every third Saturday and it all day long. This was with the "blooming on the bayou" thing was. the coffee shop got a lot of these umbrellas and on the day of the art walk he give them to any woman who wish one untill he ran out. I shot this the day before the art walk. My dad is doing ok. We did a lot to fix the house like lay down flooring in a big room and clean up his room and moved his bed out to put in a hostipal bed that be comeing in Wednesday. Clean up a lot of other places lol

Love those umbrellas! Not like ones we see here that fit in a briefcase or backpack. In the desert we have one and it's mostly for when we travel. These are so festive and colorful! I'm glad to hear your dad's doing ok. Those old boys are so tough! My dad has bandages that have to be changed every week by a nurse, and has had them for eight years and he's still running all the errands! Once your dad gets over the shock of it and learns his new limits he'll be good to go again, so to speak, even if not as much as before. All my best wishes for your whole family!

This is so cool. You live in a cool place Jock. Glad to here your dad is doing better, moonrancher is right about getting over the shock, my dad lost an eye last year and is still getting use to the idea of it. It's good to have family around to help out.

Jock, you have got to be tired. I know how it is when you are fixing up for someone you care about...you can get carried away doing too much too fast. I like this shot. The umbrellas are so unique and its like they are floating. The indoor lighting gives this a quiet mood and a friendly one too.
