Description

Captured 5/17/08, around 8:00 AM, about 1.4 miles/2.253 kilometers from my semidomesticated domicile. With the plethora of seasoned floral connoisseurs out there in Renderosityland, I'm confident one or more will help identify this beautiful flower. I'm a photographer, Jim, not a botanist. Better appreciated viewed full size. Thanks for coming by, and any kind and uncritical comments are always welcome.

Well I am not good with flowers but looks to me all the element there to be named Poppy. Lovely capture anyway, like the orange color on a yellow.

I googled it just for you --- yes, these are yellow Poppys! What a surprise! I never saw yellow ones before. I always thought they only came in Red. Huh, learn something every day. Oh yeah, the photo ;;; beautifully seen and excellent shot with the back-lighting.

Oooooooohh. I like the top image, in particular the way the light interacts with the large poppy on the right. Yummmy! Excellent work, my friend. I love these!
