While my computer was virus ridden, I missed your birthday.... But the way I figure it, once we hit 40 we should get to celebrate for longer periods of time... By my calculations you should get at least 8 weeks of Birthday Joy!!! (As I always say "It's better to have a birthday than not!) So I hope your birthday celebrations are full of joy, love, family, caring, and a party or two. Oh, and of course, some photographic moments! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TARA. Thanks for your views, comments and faves on my favorite rose, "Pink is for ... ~Happiness~". Be Happy! ~Melinda~ P.S. I think my thermometer is broken, it read 114F yesterday.... UGH.

I don't think there is such as thing as 114 degrees, is there? Maybe in hell but ... oh well, where did you say you live??? LOL It was only 102 here yesterday and 99 today. Quite a cooling trend. This is a really great shot. I love the lighting and the composition is nice and simple with a relaxed sort of celebratory feeling to it.

Tara had a birthday? I didn't know that. Actually, technically speaking, we have only one birthday in our lives...that's the day we are born. We therefore celebrate that event every year when it falls on the appropriate day of the month. So, it should be Happy Birthdate, celebrating the day we first saw the light of day. Anyway, terrific colors, composition and lighting effects in this flash photo, Melinda.
