sorry this is so much later than the rest. i didn't want to post it until i was going to post another image, and i didn't want to post something new until i got through commenting on all the images i've been meaning to comment on. since it's taking me too long, here it is. the weakest in the series, but (oddly) my boyfriend's favorite.

I don't think it's the weakest one. I like the definition in the textures on this version. The black really sets off the gold to give it an elegant feel. It reminds me of something from the 1920s.

I just looked at the others, it's my favourite too. I think the light/glow in front of her face works better than the smoke. Beautifully done and creative, it's pretty cool :)

ah the long awaited yellow! I could see these on the walls of a hip games studio or someplace like that. Really nice series, I think there is a rhythm to the iteration with the various colors that makes the series more than the sum of its elements.

Well, I thought there was no love like the first but I guess I was wrong. This one is my favourite. Maybe because the flame is more vivid here (even hiding her mouth), maybe because there's a stronger contrast between all elements, I don't know why but I really prefer this one. Excellent work.
