Description

I took this shot Saturday. I had some one tell me how I should take the shot and had a diff type of flash. If he wish me to have a diff flash wish he give me the $250 it would cost me. I got to use what I got and I pick the pov the way I wish too. Guess we all got kin folks like that. I not mad at him he do have a D70 and he wish to know about the D80 plus he told me about a friend of his takes super photos but he has a D200. Should have told him you can have the best camera in the world but if you do not compost and get pov's and other stuff like art in plus know how to handle the camera you got nothing. A real photo person can use a thow away camera and get better shots than a person with the best camera who do not know what he doing. I did not tell him nothing. Of couse he told me how he shots hummingbirds and stop they wings and all. I saw none of his photos just his camera and the battery was dead in his big flash gun he have. I not jealy but just wonder at times. He is real a good person. there I go chaseing rabbits lol anyway This is my dad with my son son. [why do I chase rabbits? I do that all the time trying to talk about someone i giveing a photo to.] Guess that me lol poor old me Oh in ase you heree for the first time my dad had his leg cut off and he home now

In the mobidity tables this is a near impossible shot. My uncle was alife insurance salesman and once showed me his references and how they are published each year. At the time he showed me in the middle 60's the life expectation of someone born that year was 70. Biblically that would be David. Barzilli lived to be 80.

Truer words (and photos) have not been spoken (and taken). Most excellent shot, no matter what the tool. I too chase rabbits, but only the ones who eat my flowers.

What a wonderful moment in time. I think it's wonderful your dad is 92 and still lives at home. My dad turns 91 tomorrow. Both my parents live in the house my dad built but their dr keeps trying to get them to move to a living assisted home. They don't want to leave their home.

A beautiful shot of your dad with his great grand son. You will treasure this for a long time to come. I couldn't agree with you more about camera equipment and picture taking Jock. The pictures you take form in your head, the camera is just a tool. If you don't have the ideas and visions to take an outstanding, eye-catching picture, all the camera equipment in the world is not going to help you. You take beautiful pictures Jock, and I suspect not because you have expensive equipment, but because you have the vision. Take care, Sig...
