Thank you for visiting my Gallery and any comments or critiques are welcome.
Â
I started this adventure in March of 2008 with a desire to realize in images some of my writing that mainly focused on cause and affect of how changes to events in history, technology etc would affect the development of the world around us. 3D art has also increased my interest in mathematics - and how the physics of light and form have been modeled on the computer.
Tools: Bryce, DAZ 3D Studio, Hexagon, GIMP and UVMapperPro. I have been looking at options to create normal maps and to bake AO into the textures.
On Comments:
Thank you to all who have left comments on my images, favoured my images and myself as an artist and sent me friend invites. A special thank you for those that have left comments about what they do not like and what I may do to improve my images. As I am self taught these comments help me improve my work.
I do not have an insightful comment for every work of art I view that often a Hi I was here and appreciated what you have done is of distinct value.
Favorite Artist: Artist that I like the work that they do for a multitude of reasons. It does not mean I will comment on everything they release or even like everything they release. It does mean that I want to be able to look at every thing they release!
3D Art: What must the artist put into an image to claim it as their own instead of the reshuffling of the work of others? This question I find very relevant when considering some of the excellent work that is available as 'props'. These questions have driven me to learn how to work with textures and create/change models so that I can endeavour to put something of my own creation into the images IÂ publish.
Thanks again

I've got a full bladder, just a moment. Definitely requires magnesium. I had a false coin about the size of a silver dollar from Dow chemical that was made of magnesium and had the note "from the sea". Apparantly, terrestial brine was not sufficient not even dolomite. It is one of the tests of the budding aviator to ask if he would drop "boxfin magnesium on the orphan asylum". I think this is a garbled reference to the Lancasters accidentally bombing an insane asylum in Pilsen trying for the Skoda works. The first American in WW-I to die was a doctor in hospital bombed by a zeppelin. Have you seen the new Maybach in person?

Nice ship, I like the sky colors.

Really interesting project. I like the elegant design, obviously with a passenger deck on top. What a damn shame that era ended in Lakehurst.
