Description

After a hearthy breakfast it's off to the beach. We head to Ruby Beach one of the more popular beaches on the Washington coast. A combination of pebbles, small rocks and drift wood litter the beach. Large rock formations and sea stacks are also a prominent feature on this Olympic Peninsula Beach. It's really popular when there's a nice sunset for photographers to take photos of the stacks with the sun behind them. We as you can see had no sun lol. But it did keep trying to poke it's head out. Thanks for dropping in..Take care:0)bonita

Wow how awesome!!! Great Photo.. I was at Ruby beach last year in the fall, I sat on the longer narrow piece of driftwood, took pictures of the waves crashing through the hole in the rock!!! What an awesome beach we had such a great time during that trip. Thanks for helping me relive the memory!!

Amazing photo to me. The rock formation looks like the head, arms & back of a giant as he strolls into the sea. I also love the colors & shapes of the objects on the beach.

Sassydog spotted that giant too!! You don't need the sun in this shot, it's dramatic and gorgeous as it stands! I mean, how often does one see a giant walking along a beach?
