Fantastic macro Mick, you have lost me with the title though, the brain isn't functional at the moment, had a rough night. Lol. Good detail retained, I can imagine this a difficult shot in full sun. Bravo!!!!!

Lovely capture Mick, a staggering colour, I walked through a whole field of these one time in Broxbourne herts, and my trouser cuffs were a wash of yellow pollen dust, good thing I don't have hay fever :)

My california poppies also seed themself all over the place. They get to be a bother and much like weeds after awhile. They are in everything they shouldn't be as well as the flowerbeds they should be in. A lovely shot that makes this flower seem shy.
