Description
This wild rose looks such a simple flower. It is so different compared to modern hybrids, but part of the gene pool in there make up. I think it's simplicity is part of it's beauty and delicate appeal. I know so many love the roses and photographs are posted of roses everyday, but this is as it was before plant breeders had there fun, a vintage model as nature intended.

I have a few of these myself and know where a few more are in the wild. Not as much are they the pink ones...most are the blood red ones or a plain white. I know the blood reds were often used for medicine. this is a very well done macro of this wild rose.
