Description
These cars are known as "man cars" and the miners would ride them to their work place in the mines. Two miners would ride one on each side of the car and hold on to the steel rail in the middle of the car. The seats seem to be at an odd angle, but when they started down the slope of the mine the miners would be sitting close to straight up.

I rode a cable car like that at Garza Garcia caves in Mexico.when the car reached the top it was still hard to stay in the seat. thanks for sharing these excellent captures
