I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

Great that you have included the person in the photo to give a true perception of the immense size, interesting formation especially the grey lower section.

Wow, without the person next to it the scale is very misleading! Those are huge! Beautiful capture.

Wonderful capture! Having someone there for scale is good. These are so much larger than they appear to be!

Am I the only one who sees that the horizon at the left (between the rocks) is much higher that on the rest of the photo? Meaning that this is a composite (manipulation)?
three_grrr
Ooops .. do I detect a bit of sunshine at the top of the stack? Mother Nature seems to be softening! Another awesome capture! Love that you got one with a human in it to give us a better idea of the scale of these stacks! I suspected they were imense, but wow!
