I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

Isn't it amazing how much driftwood there is on the beaches around here? Wonderful capture, the water looks so cold and blue, and the tidepools are lovely. Well done!

Do folks collect this drifwood for their art projects or is that not permitted? Looks like a gold mine for someone who works with this wonderous stuff!
