Description

Taken last weekend about 5 minutes after sunrise as the golden glow from the east saturates the morning surf on Santa Rosa Island just east of Pensacola Beach, Florida. The photographs we took are great reminders of our trip, but they fail to capture the feeling of actually standing there with the salt water smell of the Gulf of Mexico in the constant sea-breeze, and of course the sounds of the surf and seagulls as well. This is my 3rd post in a series from a trip last weekend to the Gulf Coast. The previous post, Going, Going, Gone was of the sunset from the day before. Thanks for stopping by! marshall

So beautiful and surreal. I could stay in that moment forever and never tire of watching water rise to greet the sun.
