Overkill? Not if you overlook that awesome frame it's not. That could have been reduced in size. Well, you asked our opinion, and you'll probably despise me from here on out. Otherwise, I love the amber colors, contrasts, broken clouds, reflections and textures in this marvelous shot, Sharilyn.

It is startling and dramatic. It packs a punch and I like it. That sun really pulls the eyes right to it so it might be a bit much if you want the rest of the shot to get any attention. But I'm happy with the sun being the only subject here.
