Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

No toilet? Do you need one??? I don't have one now but I used to have two, and a half dozen old tires and a freezer chest with no door on its side and buried in the ground with only 8 inches sticking up, filled with dirt and planted. :-) I do love this boot! I'd have grabbed it too!

Shades of Nancy Sinatra! Looks like one of Captain America's boots. Extreme, stark, lighting contrasts in this capture, Marilyn.

Well, you need one just to add interest...lol. Cool, what you did with the boot planter.

Why not? I have a guzunder(chamber pot) planted with cacti why not a toilet in the garden full of plants? When I was a kid my mother used to have a chamber pot, I often thought 'Why?' the toilet was just outside her bedroom door. I never dared to ask out loud though. Quite a few characters come to mind Marilyn, Capt. America, Wonder Woman(thats you) Nancy Sinatra, Flash Gordon and Evil Knievel. I think it looks great and will feel right at home in your garden. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
