Description

I had the best time photographing the Prineville Courthouse. I don't think you could find a bad angle to shoot from there! Of course that meant I had too many images I wanted to show you, so I made you a collage. You can learn more about the Courthouse here if you're interested. I made this nice and big, so full view will give you good-sized images. .......... Edit note: We never did figure out why the flag was flying at half staff. Jill thought it might be for a local veteran. I took these photographs on Friday, May 16th - subsequent research turned up nothing.

...........what!!?? ....where's the mesa's ? -- the wide open spaces ? -- the hoo-doos, voo-doos & dust devils ??( not the vacuum cleaner ) -- the lizards - cacti & coyotes ?........why , this old court house could from Anywhere, USA.......but, - I get it ...it's just kind of a rest stop ...... hmmm - some pretty nice angles you've found here - seems to have it's own sort of character -- perhaps I'm being too hard on you -- any interior shots coming up before you get back to the desert ??

Well bust mah britches! If that don't beat all! Magnificent collage of the grand olde courthouse captured from a variety of POVs. The edifice is really elegant. Splendid old Philadelphia architecture on display here, my dear. What, me surprised? What, me stereotyping? Where did you ever get an idea like that? And here I thought Prineville used an old general store for a courthouse, for sure.

They certainly knew how to build to to the fear of O'Riley into the population in those days! A terrific set of pics, Tara, I like the bottom left best, as you can imagine the mounting apprehension or anticipation as you climb the steps for a hearing.

Well I must say you have done the old building proud Tara, an absolutely top notch collage of shots. It's a bit like a professional shoot advertising a big posh hotel. Stunning work all round, and appropiate with the flag at half mast, for memorial day. Superb! Bravo!!!!!
