My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... ÂÂ
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. ÂÂ
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Dramatic and awesome render of that historical eruption that turned people to ashes by the thousand within minutes...Your Bryce illustration of the catastrophe is absolutely fascinating and magnificent. Your narrative and the vision of the eruption you offer us almost gives me gooseflesh! Brilliant work, Keith, you're the best...

Wow Keith, when you were explaining this one to me in your email I had no idea it was going to be this good. This is probably one of your best images to date. Fantastic landscape, exceptional lighting and atmosphere. Great story to compliment it as well. Tony :-)

Hey! That's great work, Keith. You're getting really hot! Love the long, wind-blow smoke plume trailing across the scene.

Blazing hot render! That rolling, roiling smoke cloud came out excellent, as did the rest. 8 hrs?! My computer would protest and freeze, most likely just before the render finished...

Very well thought out, and you know your history---we studied all that in Latin class in high school, long ago, and I still remember some of it. Great job on the render!

Wow, bringing ancient history to life here-- there sure wasn't CNN back then to bring us live, on the spot coverage-- but you've conveyed the horror of it all vividly here~~stunning image!!

A very interesting and informative narrative and background info for this one Keith. I recently read 'Pompeii' and this brings the feeling of that event to the screen. The rich 'depth' of the ash plume against the clouds and red sky is as always stunning and these deep skies are becoming a 'Photostar' trademark! Excellent job!
