Description

Another use of atmospherics and lighting. An overhead view of an island with its jagged and rugged terrain poking thru in the sunlight while the lowland areas are shrouded in mists. The basic terrain was duplicated 4 times and set off-center for each to reveal the multiple layers of rock and grass mats which were applied. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting. Full size is a must for terrain detail. Bryce Resized, sharpened and signature with Paint.Net

Very nice work, Keith. You have a style of your own that is developing with every post. The visual simplicity of this image hides the complex subtle tweaking of its construction. A brave posting in many ways... so Bravo!

Outstanding the way you force the viewer to engage in the geology and the beauty of the fractal chaos of the terrain. I love the overhead POV.
