Description

This is the spiral (double helix) stairway in the Vatican Museum. One set of stairs goes up, and the other down. Now, what might that be a metaphor for? This turned out to be not such an easy shot. It required setting up properly and a lot of patience, mostly with regard to getting right the spacing and balance of tourists walking up or down the steps.

We have a roof top carpark above a shopping center that uses the same system with the cars unfortunately it has a roof on and cannot be photographed like this one. It is a bit weird when driving up when one is coming down, you think you are going to meet it head on, and it is also very noisy if you have the window open. You managed to balance this out pretty well although they are all walking down, or so it seems. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
