Description

through thick and thin, still here and enjoying more than ever.thanks to everyone for the friendships we had a storm blow through yesterday and I decided to watch from my roof the sunset. well , I was surprised when I seen the cloud formation.I never seen anything quite like this, and I wanted to share what I seen. I have seen 100's of squall lines as everyone but they always was at the start of the storm.I decided to go down and change lens and I was down for less than 2 minutes and when I started back out the low clouds were already over my house and raining

Richard, a truly remarkable and captivating image and capture of what mother nature has brewed up! Such incredible contrast... like night and day, I too, have never seen anything quite like it, the formation is incredible, nevertheless would incredibly frighten (quite literally) the daylight out of me! A fascinating perspective! 5 years of impeccable images and you continue to prosper with every post... as your compositions are most wonderful, and keep one always inspired and in awe! Congratulations my friend!

What a great capture Richard, I am particularly drawn to these kind of shots, they illustrate the power of nature, fantastic work my friend...And I'll leave it to Geddy Lee of the rockband Rush to wrap it up... The clouds prepare for battle In the dark and brooding silence Bruised and sullen storm clouds Have the light of day obscured Looming low and ominous In twilight premature Thunder heads are rumbling In a distant overture... All at once, the clouds are parted Light streams down in bright unbroken beams... Follow men's eyes as they look to the skies The shifting shafts of shining weave the fabric of their dreams...

Richard, this is the most unusual cloud cover I have ever seen. Having grown up in Oklahoma I have seen many storm clouds. I have watched tornadoes form and drop down to do their damage, but I have never seen clouds like these. A most wonderful capture! Congrats of 5 Years! Lea
