Description

We are the luckiest people alive..The whole ridge above us burned all the way down to the road we live on and then the winds changed sending the fire back up the burnt ridge and gave the firemen and helecopters a chance to get it under control..i think the last fire is still burning somewhere close above us,but they say it is contained....the seperate fire that jumped the lines burnt just the top of the ridge we see from our kitchen and was the biggest threat as it grew very fast...so thank you all so very much for your positive thoughts and prayers....it worked!!! I also got a virus in my computer that stole my inbox for my e-mail..so havent had any mail since the 22nd....Freakin Hackers!!

Glad to hear you are ok! And hopefully now the ridge has burned out you'll have a firebreak for a few years to come. Fire is the downside to living in Paradise;-) Of course the cigar-smoking local dragons aren't helping;-)

Whew"......I'm glad you and lilly(the superdog)are safe, along with all of the rest of your life. Well maybe except for the virus, You certainly had a lot of very concerned friends. You're pic is awesome, a little piculiar as this is how a lot of those fires start, but I'm happier you and your family are going to be ok.
