Description

The mountain in this pic started life in Wings3d. I’m finding it to be a great way to start terrains. The overall gross topography can be nicely controlled in ways that I cannot achieve using a pic editor or the Bryce terrain editor alone. The Wings mesh can be brought into Bryce, a height map rendered, and then a terrain generated from the resulting image. This is then modded with the various erode/eroded functions to arrive at something workable. Volume clouds were added to create the sky components. All models are Wings3d originals, assembled in Bryce5.

Beautiful imagery with an exciting sense of movement. Your cloudscape just grazing the mountain peak is awesome work. Very well done.
