Description
This pistol concept is an enhanced version of the Police Detective pistol used by Harrison Ford in the Blade Runner film. The retro designs of LA 2019 were visually stunning. This concept is what a Uniform Officer might have to carry in a world so dangerous as captioned by the Philip K. Dick Story of the "Blade Runner" or "Do Androids dream of electric sheep." Way cool piece to blast the likes of Rutger Hauer, but I thought it was waste to shoot Darryl Hannah. Glad to see a well designed heavy weight shooter after such a long absence. More!

Thanks for the kind response. I just bought the Blade Runner DVD "Final Cut" DVD Set and felt inspired. The set designs of a futuristic LA 2019 in a Retro Universe were a landmark cinematic achievement at its time. The movie still translate to today. I would like to see a sequel to explore the fate of the replicants and stories that make us think about man's inhumanity to man. Harada

The second trigger on the Blade Runner PKD blaster has always been a point of controversy. The pistol fires a combination armor piercing/explosive tip round. Using the second trigger arms the explosive round - to use the explosive tip mode vs the armor peircing mode. Pull the small front trigger - you arm the explosive tip that detonates a micro second after the penetration. If you must shoot through a wall - deactivate the the explosive tip and use the armor piercing mode only. You could use another activation switch - but the NICE big forward trigger gives easy access under fire in a fire fight. :) What you think of the explaination? Harada
