Description
Lightwave WIP - Doctor Who Sontaran Battle Sphere project. The sphere took different forms throughout the fifty year run of the BBC TV Series. The model under construction can be the most simple sphere to complex external weapons and cockpit and hatch versions. Still experimenting with texturing and patterns. Complete versions will be 3DM, LWO, OBj, and POSER. Ultimately working on a a see through cockpit and Sontaran pilot for a "fighter version." This is a concept for a scout lander. The model is from scratch - built in Rhino and Lightwave Modeler by me. LOGOS and Sontaran by the BBC.

WOW! The Doctor has been dealing with these guys for 50 years! Excellent render. The pilot has a mean looking blaster.
