Description
At one time, this place was inhabited with people planting taro and rice. It has long been abandoned since then. The ground looks muddy so I'll stop here. Will be back at another time to see what's on the other side of this Pololu Valley. Pololu means long spear in Hawaiian. Aloha and thank you for viewing

This is amazing. So beautiful and you say it was a taro and rice field? It doesn't seem to show any signs of humans. A great spot! Don't know if I could have resisted walking on as far as I could in the mud. I'm just too curious for my own good sometimes... :-)
