Description

I've had a while to digest all the pictures from my road trip now and they keep popping up on my screensaver... I didn't think to edit this one first time round because of a dearth of mountain pics but I've come to quite like this one because of the light and as a shot which reminds me straight away what the scenery was like up in Skye. The mountain range in Skye is known as the Cuillins and I was going to call this 'Clouds over the Cuillins' but then realised I may as well finish off the 'Skye Landscape series'. There may still be the odd one to trickle through from the road trip in time but I think I've now sifted through the majority of worthwhile ones.. This was shot from the side of the road near to a stream we'd stopped off to explore, and I remember I was far too cold to fiddle about with changing lenses and setting up, plus we still had many hundred miles to do by the evening. Then the light decided to pop its head through the clouds and cast a little more interest on an otherwise pretty typical mountain snapshot.. perfect.. *click* then back in the car and off in a general direction of the mainland... =) Hrmm, sorry for rambling on... have a great day! Adam, you have a great eye and sense of interest. Right away I was intrigued by the lighting. The shadow of the cloud on the side of the mountain especially. Fabulous scene that draws me in.

Well done Adam that's a great image, often one can get a shot when there at the right time.. I have waited at times for hours, with nothing so interesting
