Hey people, thanks for all the recent kind comments, I've finally got a little more free time on my hands so will be able to be a little more active on here hopefully... speaking of which, free time =) lots of opportunity to go out and take new pics..! Yesterday I decided to head out while the light was good and went back to explore the same forest I posted shots of in Forest Reflections and Forest Trail, which is near to this church in the village of Dunino (I always wondered if when they were choosing to name the place they asked a Scot in charge who wasn't really listening, and who responded with 'Dunnae know', and just decided to go with it.. who knows?) Anyway I had fun clambering about down by the stream playing with angles and long exposures and ended up taking so many shots that I've decided that tomorrow will mark the start of a new mini-series 'Into the Woods' =) so I hope you all like streams, trees, and general nature or there's a good chance I'll be boring you by a week's time ;) I've always felt a strange connection to nature and no matter the stresses of life I believe a bit of time taken to appreciate it and our relative insignificance in the grand scheme can help put things in perspective.. I think I could best sum up its effect on me as simultaneously liberating and calming but anyway... This shot was taken at the end of my ramble down in the woods, about 20 minutes before sunset, with the low sun in the sky out of frame to the left. Enjoy =) Adam

How funny! When I read the name of the place, I too immediately thought of the Scot and the "I dunnea know" line. LOL This is a beautiful shot with the golden light from the left. The mood is not dismal at all dispite the headstones. Excellent work.

I could probably have spent the whole day there in the churchyard, with those lovely tomstones! The church is beautiful too; great capture, and I can't wait to see the new series...
